Dear Associate,

With the arrival of summer and the holiday season, it is with great satisfaction that we present an overview of AMABCC’s activities throughout the first semester. It has been a period of much work and dedication, always with the aim of enhancing and improving the quality of life in our BCC.

This year, AMABCC focused on several areas, with an emphasis on:

• Communication with associates – through more regular newsletter dispatches;
• Promoting higher quality green spaces and facilities: Bus stops and recycling points were refurbished. Roundabouts gained more color with the inclusion of flowers, and an entirely renovated irrigation system was implemented;
• Security: We continued to rely on the commitment of the Strong Charon Team, led by Mr. Pedro Castro, which now has the support of four additional cameras at strategic points, capable of detecting and deterring intrusion attempts. To ensure effective access control, gates and motors at the entry points were replaced;
• Representation and Dialogue: We maintained a constant dialogue with:
  • The Management Entity: We worked together to find solutions for the day-to-day operational issues of BCC, as well as more structural topics, such as budget execution and the drafting of the New Belas Clube de Campo Regulations.
  • Sintra City Council: Through direct work with Mr. Vice-President Dr. Bruno Parreira, we sought to ensure new accessibility to Belas Clube de Campo and control the wild dog pack with the support of the CMS Veterinary Medical Office. Our goal is to ensure their collection, identification, treatment, and availability for adoption by families who can provide these animals with the quality of life they deserve.

We thank everyone who contributed with their suggestions, participation, and support. It is your collaboration that makes Belas Clube de Campo such a special place to live.

Now, it’s time to enjoy a moment of pause and dedicate ourselves to our loved ones.
